Known Issues

  1. NAT feature may be disabled by default and needs to be enabled.
  2. DNS servers need to be configured to a set of efficient DNS servers in order to prevent issues with registration on Polycom phones.

Temporary Resolution

  1. Log in to the router.
  2. Change the DHCP DNS servers
    • Click on Gateway > Connection > Local IP Network > Check Assign DNS Manually > Enter the following:
    • Primary DNS Server:
    • Secondary DNS Server:
    • Click Save Settings
  3. Click on Advanced > NAT > uncheck Disable All if it checked.
  4. Reboot the router, phones and computers on the network.
  5. Contact Intermedia Support if the issues persist.

Permanent  Resolution:

  1. This device alone, is not compatible with VoIP/FoIP services.
  2. It is recommended that this device be placed into "Bridge Mode", to a compatible router or firewall solution.
