Known Issues:

  1. This stub article exists to document how the WNR2000v2 requires a firmware update to v1.0.0.34_29.0.45NA or higher to disable SIP ALG and make other necessary changes to prevent phone issues.
  2. Some firmware versions that the WNR2000v2 and WNR2000v3 use do not allow disabling DNS relay/proxy, which causes DNS lookup timeouts on Polycom phones. DNS relay/proxy needs to be disabled to prevent intermittent or frequent phone registration failures.
  3. These routers also come with SIP ALG enabled by default. Some firmware versions require a firmware update to disable this setting.
  4. WAN Pings is disabled by default on both router models, which is an optional setting that needs to be enabled to allow the router to respond to our Call Quality Monitoring and Troubleshooting Ping Server.
