This is because CFGRAPH, CFGRID, CFCHART tags and Flash Remoting feature make a call to path which doesn't actually exist.

This isn't a problem with ColdFusion, as it seems to look for this request. However, if IIS checks to see whether or not the file exists before handing it to ColdFusion, it will obviously fail (since it doesn't exist, so ColdFusion never sees it).

To avoid this issue the Verify that file exists checkbox should be disabled in your website application configuration for ColdFusion related files extensions.

If you would like us to make these changes for your website please submit case to Intermedia Technical Support with the request to disable the Verify that file exists checkbox for ColdFusion related files extensions on your account.

To check if Flash Remoting is working on your website please browse to URL, the blank page should be returned for it.

  1. Flash Remoting is not supported on ColdFusion 4.5 and 5.0, nor is supported on non-ColdFusion plans.
  2. You will not be able to use custom 404 errors once the Verify that file exists  feature is disabled.
