If Windows or Mac SecuriSync clients cannot be updated, try the following:
If the old version of the application cannot be uninstalled, user can't install the new version. Perform one of the following steps:
- Repair the broken installation by running the installer for exactly the same version. Choose Repair and, once completed, try upgrading to the latest version:
- Use Microsoft Fix it tool to force-remove old version of SecuriSync, and then install the latest verion
To enable autoupdate, administrator should enable Task Scheduler service under Services:
Make sure the Startup Type is set to Automatic.
You can also check that the SecuriSync Autoupdate task is set to Ready:
Download and run exactly the same version of the client. This will fix any possible corruption.
You may need to launch the auto-update task by running the following command in the Terminal:
sudo launchctl start com.SecuriSync.AutoUpdater
Autoupdate is available for clients v.2.10+ with no end-user activity.
