VoIP/Soak Test:

  • We use our VoIP/Soak Tester to troubleshoot call and fax quality issues as well as many other phone problems.

  • This test simulates an actual voice or fax call by using the ports and protocols below.

  • Outbound connections through the ports below will need to be permitted in your firewall to allow the test to report data to us correctly.

  • Almost all firewalls will permit the outbound connections needed by default.

  • But if you have restricted outbound network traffic, you will need to manually configure firewall allow rules for the VoIP/Soak Test below.
