A toll-free number is a special telephone number, in that the called party is charged the cost of the calls by the telephone carrier, instead of the calling party.
If you would like to have a toll-free number:
- Submit an Extended Service request Hosted PBX: Toll-free Number request. How do I use the Extended Services portal?
- Select a number from a list of numbers provided.
The following area codes are available for request: 888, 877, 866, 855.
The 800 prefix is not available, but you can port your existing 800 number. Read the Knowledge Base article on How can I port my local phone numbers? for more information.
