To manage Hosted PBX users, you can:

To enable Hosted PBX for existing users:

  1. Log in to HostPilot and navigate to Services > Hosted PBX.
  2. Click the Manage Users button.
  3. In the Hosted PBX column, select the checkboxes for users to enable Hosted PBX service for them.
  4. Click the Proceed button to apply changes.

 
To disable Hosted PBX for a user:

  1. Follow steps 1 and 2 above.
  2. Clear the corresponding checkbox.
  3. Click the Proceed button to apply changes.
  4. If you disabled Hosted PBX, you will be asked to delete a phone number. Select the checkbox for the phone number assigned to the user who will no longer have Hosted PBX service, and click Mark for Deletion.

To create a new user:

Navigate to the Users page and click the Create User button.

When setting up the user information, select the Hosted PBX checkbox in the Services list to enable the Hosted PBX service for the new user, and type the user's extension number in the Extension box.

You can also enable the Hosted PBX service for users during mass user import.
 
What else do I need to do with new users?
After enabling Hosted PBX service for users, you must assign phone numbers to them and configure their phones. Read the Knowledge Base articles on How to set up user phone numbers for more information.‚Äč
