This article describes the steps on how to recover the mailbox data (emails, calendars, contacts, notes and tasks) in case it was deleted.
There are several scenarios on how to recover deleted mailbox data:
- Check the Deleted items folder in Outlook/OWA. You may move the emails from Deleted items to any other folder.
- If you do not find the data under Deleted Items folder, try to recovered the data that was purged from the Deleted items folder. Read the Knowledge Base article on Guide: Recovering Deleted Items in Outlook Client Or Outlook Web Access
Check, if there are some local .pst backup files or if the .pst was created within HostPilot>Services> Outlook Backup > Backups. Existing .pst file can be imported to the mailbox:

If the Email Archiving was enabled for your account, you may recover permanently deleted mailbox items. Read the Knowledge Base article on Email Archiving: Recovering Permanently Deleted Mailbox Items . Or you can make a search and export it to .pst file. Note: Email Archiving would save only emails. It is impossible to recover contacts, notes, tasks or calendar Items via Email Archiving.
If none of these options helped to recover the data, you can submit an extended service request Point In Time Restore of Mailbox Data. To submit Point in Time restore of Mailbox Data go to Host Pilot > Support > Extended Services > Point in Time restore > fill in the details > Submit.
Important: With Point in Time Request it is possible to recover the data that was deleted within last 7 days only.
