Instructions below apply to BlackBerry Enterprise Activation for the devices that do not have an Enterprise data plan provided by their wireless carrier. If you do have an Enterprise data plan read the Knowledge Base article on How Do I Enable My BlackBerry® Using Wireless Enterprise Activation?
Before activating the device:
You must enable BlackBerry wireless services for the mailbox using HostPilot® Control Panel. Read the Knowledge Base article on How do I enable BlackBerry wireless service for the user? for more information.
Within a few minutes, you should receive an activation email with the activation password. Please use your regular email application (such as Outlook or Outlook Web Access) to open this email.
