Q: How do I enable temporary routing for holidays or vacations?
A: To temporarily make your calls route not according to your Weekly Schedule (due to holidays, emergencies, personnel vacations etc) go to Menus tab and change your active menu using Current Active Menu dropdown list or Active radio button. After this, go to Weekly Schedule and turn it off. To go back to your normal routing, go to Weekly Schedule and turn it back on. Enabling Weekly Schedule does not change your active menu, so change it if necessary.
Q: We have multiple numbers routing to our Auto Attendant. Is it possible to know which number was dialed on an incoming call?
A: It is currently not possible to see what number was dialed on Auto Attendant calls. As a workaround, you may configure multiple Auto Attendant numbers and route calls via Hunt Group with different names. Hunt Group name will be displayed on a phone's screen on incoming calls. Contact Customer Service to order more Auto Attendant numbers and get assistance with configuration.
Q: Why cannot I receive faxes via my Auto Attendant? It just rings the phones.
A: Auto Attendant can only detect fax tones while a greeting is being played. If your Auto Attendant is configured to immediately ring phones via Receptionist Routing or time out to Hunt Group/phone number, it won't be able to receive faxes.
Q: How do I timeout one Hunt Group to another Hunt Group?
A: Hunt Group cannot time out directly into another Hunt Group. As a workaround, you can setup a menu or a bulletin that times out to the second hunt group and set the first Hunt Group to time out to this menu/bulletin.
Q: How do I make a Hunt Group ring immediately without a greeting or receptionist routing?
A: Create a new menu and set the Hunt Group you want to ring in timeout options. Do not upload a greeting to this menu and do not enable receptionist routing. Set this menu as Active if you would like it to ring now and modify your Weekly Schedule if necessary.
Q: We have a custom hold music uploaded but the default one is still being played on Auto Attendant calls.
A: Hunt Group hold music cannot be changed. You can utilize Call Queues instead.
Q: Is there a way to pull up call statistics, such as missed calls, average hold etc?
A: Yes, if you are utilizing Call Queues. See Call Queue Reports article for more information.
Q: How do I remove a greeting from an existing menu?
A: Existing menu greeting can only be removed via Command Mode.
