Important: Encryption for Office 365 requires Exchange services enabled with Office 365.

This article describes managing Office 365 products purchased from Intermedia. 

How To Enable Email Encryption For Office 365

  1. Log in to HostPilotĀ® Control Panel
  2. Navigate to Services > Email Encryption

  3. Choose one of the available templates for settings > Click Install Encryption
  4. Create or adjust the SPF record for your domain to include emg.intermedia.net

    For example: your_domain.com, TXT, "v=spf1 include:spf.protection.outlook.com include:emg.intermedia.net ~all"

Note: Once the Install button is clicked, the Send Connector will be automatically created on the Office 365 account.

Managing Email Encryption For Office 365

Message Pickup Center

To access Message pickup center: 

  1. Log in to HostPilot
  2. Navigate to Services > Email Encryption
  3. Go to Email encryption > Message pickup center

To access Encrypted mail gateway:

  1. Log in to HostPilot
  2. Navigate to Services > Email Encryption
