The IMAP Export tool allows you to pull data from remote POP/IMAP server to Intermedia's servers. The data is placed into the mailbox server-side so this process is seamless for the users.

Note: Your POP server must support IMAP connections.

Requirements for the IMAP Export tool:

  1. POP/IMAP server name;
  2. Port numbers or protocol name (e.g. SSL/no SSL);
  3. Authentication type (e.g. Login/password);
  4. List of User Principal Names (primary email addresses) and the passwords on the IMAP server.
  5. List of User Principal Names (primary email addresses) and the passwords on Intermedia's account.

Only Mail items will be copied using this tool. You will need to copy Contacts and Calendars manually. Please read the Knowledge Base article on How To Export Data In Outlook for more information.
