Credentials not accepted

If you enter your credentials and receive the following error message:

Testing credentials... failed

Testing credentials...failed

  1. Make sure you enter User for Credential type. Administrator type is used only by Intermedia Administrators.
  2. Try logging in to HostPilot with the same credentials:

NOT CONNECTED

If the credentials were accepted but you're seeing the [NOT CONNECTED] status:

NOT CONNECTED

  1. Make a screenshot of your full HostPilot PowerShell session starting with Credential type
  2. Provide the screenshot and your admin login to Support
