This article has the instructions on how to conenct an Exchange mailbox to Windows RT Devices via ActiveSync. You need to enable ActiveSync services for a user and then set up an account on the device.
General steps for setting up an account on a Windows RT device
- Enable ActiveSync for the mailbox. Read the Knowledge Base article on How do I activate ActiveSync service for the user? for instructions.
- Find settings for a particular user (Username, Exchange domain, Server address). The correct account information can be found in HostPilot® Control Panel under Home > ActiveSync or in My Services under ActiveSync.
- Add the Exchange account on your device, following the instructions below.

If Autodiscover record for the domain does not exist you will want to proceed with Show more details.
3. On the next screen add the following information:

When account is verified you may be prompted to Enforce security policies, proceed with Enforce these policies button
4.Your device should now be connected. You can adjust the settings such as what contents to sync by going back to Connected to and the Outlook account.
