End-users may access their personal archive from Archiving management control panel.

Please note that Outlook integration is currently not available for Email Archiving.

Log into My Archive

To open personal archive in My Services:

  1. Log in to My Services.
  2. Click Email Archiving under Email section and then Manage Your Archive.

  3. Click My Archive button in the upper-right corner. Note that Users will be redirected straight to My Archive, while Search Users, Seach Admins and Search Admins Plus will have to click My Archive button in Archiving management control panel.

Log into My Archive for Office 365 mailboxes

Once Email Archiving service is enabled for the user, Getting Started email is sent to the user. This email contains login and password for access to My Archive. To access My Archive, click Manage Email Archiving button.

To reset the password for My Archive:

  1. If needed, request a link to your archive from your administrator
  2. On the login page, click Didn't receive unlock instructions? link
  3. Click Forgot password? link
  4. Specify your email address which is associated with Email Archiving service
  5. Click Send me reset password instructions button

My Archive overview

My Archive displays three different folders by default which can help you access specific email categories quicker than browsing through your entire personal mailbox. My Archive default folders are:

  • All Mail, which loads by default when you open My Archive
  • All Received
  • All Sent

Please note there can be up to a 24 hour lag between collection and view of objects in the archive.

Smart Folders

End users have access to Smart Folders. The root folder Smart Folders is always displayed and allow end users to create Smart Folders that will appear as sub-folders below the Smart Folders folder. Basically, a Smart Folder is nothing more complicated than a saved search or a filter that a user applies on his archive.

To create a Smart Folder:

  1. Click a green plus button next to Smart Folders.
  2. Fill in Smart Folder name and search criteria.

  3. Click Save Smart Folder.

To edit a Smart Folder:

  1. Click a pen button next to Smart Folders.
  2. Edit Smart Folder name or search criteria.
  3. Click Save Smart Folder.

To remove a Smart Folder:

  1. Click a red cross button next to Smart Folders.
  2. Click Yes to confirm.

Quick Search

It is possible to search inside of your personal archive from the search box. Quick search works both for Messages view and Attachments view.

  • Messages view allows to use the following search patterns:
    • Keyword, partial email address or attachment name (all allow for wildcards, even leading wildcards)
    • Keyword/phrase (use quotation marks ("...") around multiple words for phrase search)
    • Sender (jdoe@acme.com, *@acme.com, jode@acme*, *doe*)
    • Recipients (jdoe@acem.com, *acme.com, *doe*)
    • Attachment name (contract, *$, 200*)
  • Messages view supports the following search patterns:
    • Keyword, partial attachment name (all allow for wildcards, even leading wildcards)
    • Keyword/phrase (use quotation marks ("...") around multiple words for phrase search)
    • Attachment name (contract, *$, 200*)
