By default, the Spam Report frequency is one every morning of each day. For a user to receive a Spam Report:
- email address must exist in the Control Console for that user
- The user must have messages quarantined due to Spam
When a message is quarantined, it remains Quarantined for 14 days and then automatically purged after the fourteen day retention period if it has not been released.
The feature is available for McAfee Email Protection Advanced Plan (and higher).
You can configure SPAM reports in Control Console > Account Management > Users > Click on a user > Edit > Email Protection > Details.
There are 4 types of SPAM reports:
- HTML with Actions
- HTML with Actions & Require authentication
- Text Only Summary
- Text New Items since last report
