Internal Transfer

Supervised (Warm) Call Transfer

  1. While on a call, place the caller on hold by pressing Transfer.
  2. When you hear the dial tone, dial the desired extension.
  3. Announce the call to the new party.
  4. Press the Transfer key. Your line will hang up and transfer the caller to the extension.

Unsupervised (Cold) Call Transfer

  1. While on a call, place the caller on hold by pressing Transfer.
  2. When you hear the Dial Tone, dial the desired Extension.
  3. Tap Transfer again.
  4. Your line will hang up and the caller is transferred to the extension.

External Transfer

Supervised (Warm) Call Transfer

  1. While on a call, place the caller on hold by pressing Transfer.
  2. When you hear the Dial Tone, dial the desired phone number.
  3. Announce the call to the new party.
  4. Press the Transfer key.  Your line will hang up and transfer the caller to the phone number.

Unsupervised (Cold) Call Transfer

  1. While on a call, place the caller on hold by pressing Transfer.
  2. When you hear the dial tone, dial the desired phone number.
  3. Press Transfer again.
  4. Your line will hang up and the caller is transferred to the phone number.

Network-Based Call Transfer

  1. While on a call, press #5. The caller is placed on hold.
  2. At the dial tone, enter an extension or phone number.
  3. Once the new party picks up, press #5 again.
  4. All three parties are now connected together.
  5. You may hang up and leave the other two talking.

Transfer To A Voicemail Box

  1. While on a call, press the Transfer button. The caller is placed on hold.
  2. Dial *99 + <3-digit extension> of the phone.
  3. The call transfers to the voicemail box of that extension.
