Known Issues

  1. Early firmware versions do not include an option to disable SIP ALG.  The latest firmware does allow disabling SIP ALG, however this router does not feature automatic firmware update like the new WNDR-series routers do so you will need to update the firmware manually.
  2. As of 4/16/14, even when the router was upgraded to the latest firmware version, DNS proxy/relay could not be disabled.  Netgear may have released a newer firmware that resolves this problem, but if issues persist, you or your IT will need to replace this router with a recommended or serviceable one.  See below for details.
