Known Issues

  1. Some firmware versions of the R7000 do allow disabling DNS relay/proxy, which causes DNS lookup timeouts on Polycom phones, also known as URL Calling Disabled. That setting needs to be disabled to prevent intermittent or frequent phone registration failures.
  2. These routers also come with SIP ALG enabled by default. Some firmware versions require a firmware update to disable this setting.
  3. Also WAN Pings is disabled by default, which is an optional setting that is needed to allow the router to respond to our Call Quality Monitoring and Troubleshooting Ping Server.
