In some cases when you are using your phone, your contacts may experience audio or echo issues, such as feedback of your voice or of their own voice, during the call. If your contacts hear an echo during calls you can try enabling echo cancellation on the phones themselves.

Echo Cancellation on Polycom phones

  1. Go to your menu screen and select Settings
  2. Select Basic
  3. Select Preferences
  4. Select Headset
  5. Select Echo Cancellation
  6. Select Enable and then back out (or select menu to escape the settings)

Echo Cancellation on Yealink phones

To enable Acoustic Echo Cancellation on Yealink phones you will need to log into the phone's WebUI and navigate to Settings > Voice > AEC and set it to Enabled
