Locations allow you to logically group your voice users by their physical addresses.

Overview of Location page

To manage locations login to HostPilotĀ® Control Panel > Voice Services > Locations. You will see both a list of Locations and Users.

How to change main address

Navigate to Locations > click on Main company address link. Change address and click on Save changes. 

Note: The main address may also be modified by navigating to Account > Company information

Search options

To search for specific user enter user's name in search field and click Search.

To search for all users at specific location click on All locations > select location from drop down. 

Add new location

  1. Navigate to Locations > Add location
  2. Fill in the address information and click Add location

Note: you may see the following notification:

You will see sign    to the right of each field that was auto corrected. Review the address and click Add location again.

Once location is added you need to assign users to it.

How to assign users to different location

  1. Navigate to Locations. 
  2. Place a check next to the user(s) you wish to move.
  3. Click Move users to location button
  4. Select location where user(s) will be moved to
  5. Click Move users

Note: the e911 address will not be automatically updated. It is extremely important to update the e911 address of each user to match their physical address. 

How to edit / delete location

Navigate to Locations tab > click on location. 

To change address: make changes and click on Save changes. You will see notification that users will be moved to new location address. Click Confirm.

To delete location: click on Delete location link. Select location where users from this location should be moved to. Click Delete location and move users.

Note: The e911 address will not be automatically updated. It is extremely important to update the e911 address of each user to match their physical address.
