Certain extensions are reserved and cannot be assigned to users or any objects on Intermedia Unite.

  • 311 - Government and Non-Emergency Information

  • 511 - Traffic & Weather
  • 611 - Used by Cell providers for direct service access

411 and 711 can be dialed from within Intermedia network but other *11 numbers cannot be, because these services will increase monthly bills (since usual implementations will be chargeable for both you and Intermedia).

As a workaround, you can set up a speed dial key for a *11 service you need in a way that it would dial a local 800 number assigned to this service. Those numbers can usually be looked up without any issues. Read the corresponding articles to learn how to set up Speed Dial on your phone.
