Hardware orders for the Intermedia Unite service can be managed directly through HostPilot, allowing admin users to easily purchase, track, and cancel orders.

    

To order new hardware

  1. Log into $controlpanel and navigate to Voice Services.
  2. On the General tab, click on Order phones


  3. Adjust the quantity next to the phone you wish to purchase and click Add to cart


  4. You will receive a notification at the top of the screen that your selection has been added to the cart.  Click on the cart button showing the number of items currently within.


  5. In your shopping cart, you can change the quantity of hardware you've pre-selected, or delete items by clicking the X to the right.


  6. Below your line items, you can adjust the shipping details for this order; under Locations and taxes select the address you will be using the devices, or add a new location by clicking Add location.


  7. For Shipping address select same as location or select Specify new address and type the address in below.


  8. Shipping contact should be adjusted to the person whom should be informed of the hardware shipment, tracking, and delivery notifications.


  9. Under Delivery you can select the shipping method you would like, Ground or NextDay.


  10. Once you have completed all of the order information, you can view the Pay now and Monthly totals in the Total price section at the bottom of the page.  If the order is correct, click Submit my order to complete the order process.


  11. A final confirmation will show you the total fees that will be charged to the account immediately, if applicable.

 

  

Viewing order history & details

You can track orders at any time from the order hardware page.
 

  1. Log into $controlpanel and navigate to Voice Services.
  2. On the General tab, click on Order phones


  3. Click on Order history to the right of the order page; this will show you a list of all of your previous hardware orders through the control panel.


  4. Clicking on an Order ID will open a detail window with more information regarding your order.


 

  

Editing Hardware order

You are able to edit some hardware orders directly from HostPilot, without having to contact the support team.  

Note: Only new orders with a Status of Provisioned, are able to be edited in HostPilot. orders in shipment cannot be edited this way, please contact the support team for further assistance.

  1. Log into HostPilot and navigate to Voice Services.

  2. On the Devices tab click on the Order History link.

  3. Click on the Order ID of your new Provisioned hardware order.

  4. At the top of the order details, click the Edit order.

    Note: Editing this order will immediately cancel your existing order and create a new order that you can modify. If you do not complete the modification, your order will remain on your account and will not be processed until you re-submit it.

  5. This will prompt a confirmation window. Click Edit to confirm.

  6. Order will be opened in shopping cart and will be available for editing.

  7. Make required changes and submit new order. Confirm the status of order:
      • New order will have status Provisioned.
      • Old order will have status Cancelled.

    If you have not finished editing the order (for example just closed browser) navigate to Voice Services > Devices > Order History > click on Continue.

Canceling Hardware Order

You are able to cancel some hardware orders directly from HostPilot, without having to contact the support team. 

Note: Only new orders with a Status of Provisioned, are able to be canceled in HostPilot; orders in shipment cannot be cancelled this way, please contact the support team for further assistance.

  1. Log into HostPilot and navigate to Voice Services.
  2. On the Devices tab, click on the Order History link

  3. Click on the Order ID of your new Provisioned hardware order.


  4. At the top of the order details, click the Cancel order link in the cancel order notification.


  5. This will prompt a confirmation window to finalize the cancellation;  click Cancel order to confirm.


  6. You are returned to the order details page, and will see the order status as Cancelled.


  7. You will also see the Cancelled status on the order list.
