November, 18 - Enhancements to Email Archiving announced

The enhancements include:

  • Updated and more intuitive user interface
  • Improved search capabilities
  • In-app rendering of emails & 600+ attachment types
  • Expanded export capability

New customers are being provisioned on this platform starting the week of November 18.

Existing archiving standalone accounts will be upgraded to the new platform beginning in December 2019. We do not anticipate any downtime in connection with this upgrade, and messages will continue to be archived during the upgrade.

What to expect:

  • As this upgrade is only for the Archiving service, there is no impact to the Exchange email service.
  • You will receive a separate notice with the exact date your accounts will be upgraded as we get closer to the upgrade date. You will also get a notice when the upgrade is complete.
  • Once an account is upgraded, users will see the new Archiving portal interface on their next visit.
  • Standalone Archiving customers need to update the Journal rules per the Knowledge Base article after the account has been upgraded.
  • No actions or changes will be required for Intermedia Exchange hosted users.

November, 4 - Legacy Hosted PBX Voice Service is being upgraded announce

Over the next few months – from November 18, 2019 to January 24, 2020, Intermedia will be automatically upgrading all customers of our legacy 1.0 Hosted PBX Voice Service to Intermedia Unite – our flagship Unified Communications Solution.

We will provide you with a more accurate date for your account upgrade approximately 5 business days before the scheduled date.

What to expect:

  • Upgrades will occur between 11PM and 3AM PST. Your phone service will be down for about 15 minutes while we make the switchover.
  • Your existing Hosted PBX settings will remain unchanged after the upgrade. Users will experience no change to the way they use the phone system. However, several new Unite features will become available to you.
  • There may be minor changes to the amount you will be billed.
  • Our Technical Support team may contact you beforehand to update your E911 addresses, company address, or other items to get your account ready for the upgrade. When you are contacted, please respond to our Support team to provide the requested information.  Other than this, the upgrade will require no action from your side.

October, 29 - SecuriSync Device Access Policy

Our new SecuriSync Device Access Policy feature is now available.

This policy allows admins to limit the number of desktop and mobile devices each user is allowed to connect to SecuriSync. It can be used to ensure that SecuriSync can ONLY be installed on corporate computers.
