NEC DT900S desk phones may be provisioned via the phone's keypad, or via the phone's admin Web UI.

Compatibility

NEC DT900S desk phones with firmware 5.2.0.0 or higher are compatible with Intermedia Unite. Phones with older firmware must be upgraded to 5.2.0.0 before being connected to the service.  For more information on upgrading your DT900S phones, please see the instructions in Anytime Portal.

Via Keypad

Steps to stub the phone via the keypad are:

  1. Navigate to Settings > Admin Settings
  2. Enter the current User Name and Password and log into the phone. The default username is ADMIN, and the default password is 6633222
  3. Navigate to Network Settings > Boot Server
  4. Under Server Address enter the value config.telecomsvc.com and save
  5. Under Server Port enter the value 1443 and save
  6. Under Protocol select the value HTTPS and save
  7. Under Source Preference select the value Manual Configuration and save
  8. Navigate back one menu level, and select SNTP > Server Address
  9. Enter an address of 64.28.115.137
  10. Back out of the menu system and select to Save and Reboot the phone

Via Admin Web UI

Steps to stub the phone via the web UI are:

  1. Navigate to the IP address of the phone in the Chrome browser
  2. Enter the current User Name and password and log into the UI. The default username is ADMIN, and the default password is 6633222
  3. If the phone requires a new admin password, enter the new password, click Change and wait for the phone to reboot.  Once the phone has rebooted, proceed
  4. Navigate to Network Settings
  5. Navigate to the Boot Server section
  6. Under Server Address enter config.telecomsvc.com
  7. Under Server Port enter 1443
  8. Under Protocol select HTTPS
  9. Under Source Preference select Manual Configuration

  10. Navigate to SNTP
  11. For Server Address enter 64.28.115.137

  12. Navigate to the top of the page and click Submit
  13. Click Save to reboot the phone.
