To add a new call transfer information field:

  1. Click Add.

  2. The Add Transfer Info dialog box opens. The field Position is automatically assigned. Complete the remaining fields and click OK.

  3. A new line with the added field appears in the Call Transfer Information Controls table.

The following information is displayed for each entry:

  • Position – Indicates the order in which the fields will be presented.
  • Label – Field label that appears in the Contact Center Transfer Information dialog box.
  • Description – Description of the field.
  • Required – Check if the Agent is required to complete the field in the Contact Center Transfer Information dialog box. When this checkbox is checked, the Agent must complete the fields before continuing with the call transfer process. If this checkbox is not checked, completing the Add Transfer Info fields in the Contact Center is not mandatory and the Agent can choose to skip entering the fields.
  • Control Type – Determines how the transfer information is inputted in the Contact Center Transfer Information dialog box. There are three control types to choose from:
    • Single-line Textbox – Allows transfer information to be entered on a single line.
    • Multi-line Textbox – Allows transfer information to be entered on multiple lines.
    • Drop down Menu – Allows transfer information to be selected from a drop down menu.
