Planning allows you to pre-set events for individual users or teams. You can add an event three months in advance, even though you’re not creating a schedule, and any events or special events that are created will automatically be added to the schedule when the dates arrive. For example, if the current month is August and you already know training sessions are set for November, you can create the event in the Planning section of Schedule Manager. A week before schedules go out in November, when you create your schedule, the training event created in August is automatically added into the November schedules that include the dates of the training.

The Planning section is comprised of Events, Special Events, Vacation Maximum, and Vacation Manager.
