When troubleshooting your issue with the Support team, you may be asked to use the Developer Tools in your browser to export network web traffic and console logs as an HAR/XML file. The article provides instructions how to save this file using:

If you're an advanced user and want to read the file, use a tool such as the HAR Analyzer.

Google Chrome

  1. Open Developer Tools:
    • navigate to Menu > More tools > Developer tools
    • or press Ctrl + Shift + I or F12

  2. On the Network tab, Make sure that the Preserve log box is checked so that all traffic is captured:

  3. Access or refresh the page for which traffic needs to be captured
  4. Replicate the issue
  5. To export the HAR file, lick on the down arrow icon (the Export HAR... button) or right-click within the Network capture pane and select Save as HAR with content:

  6. To export console logs, right-click within the Console tab and click Save As > Save on the .log file:

Mozilla Firefox

  1. Open Developer Tools:
    • navigate to Menu > More tools > Developer tools

  5. To export the HAR file, right-click within the Network capture pane and select Save All as HAR:
