The article provides an overview of an option to report Spam calls in Intermedia Unite desktop application.

This feature doesn't block the numbers but reports this number to Intermedia as a spam caller. This will allow to track the caller's activity and take appropriate measures such as improving the labeling of spam calls and filtering them out.

Note: you can not report the phone numbers added to your Contact list.

Users can mark calls as spam if:

  • It is an incoming or outgoing call
  • Phone number is not assigned to any AD contact on this account
  • Phone number is not assigned to any personal contact for this user
  • The call is either already marked with a label (spam) or not

How to mark a call as SPAM:

  1. From an active call bar
  2. After declining/finishing a call

Q: I reported SPAM call, but still see this number in my call history. Why?

A: Reporting spam is helping us to improve the labeling of spam calls and filtering them out. However, it is not a blacklist for calls, therefore, until we confirm the number is spam, fraud, robocall, etc., we won't be able to block it.

A: We asking to report spam on every call that is not assigned to any contact in your company or your personal contact. To avoid being asked to report spam simply add this phone number to your contact list - of course, if you are sure in the person.
